The purpose of this study was to investigate the perception of pre-to-post through trauma group education for fire fighters. Due to the nature of fire fighters, they are exposed to various emergency and critical accidents, a traumatic experience that is trauma can lead to symptoms such as depression, anxiety, panic disorder and aggression when becoming chronic. In this study, subjects were twenty one fire fighters who lives in K city and were conducted trauma group education with six themes and the questionnaire on pre-to-post recognition showed the effect of the questionnaire. The topics of group education consist of understanding of trauma, treatment and prevention of trauma, psychological state and dream, stress management, psychological health support system and success case. As a result, trauma group education for fire fighters showed 'Needs and necessity of standardized trauma education materials for 18(84.7%)' 'Participated in helping psychological problems through education for 16(76.2%)' 'I would like to have a psychological test if I have a chance for 16(76.2%)' and 'Necessity of visiting education and counseling support for 14(66.7%)' in general recognition. Based on this study, trauma group education for fire fighters with traumatic experience exposed to various accident incidents, it can be seen that the education for recognition of professional education and counseling has increased.
