말초 정맥 주사의 합병증 예방을 위한 간호행위는 임상현장에서 중요하므로 말초정맥주사의 합병 증 예방관리를 위한 중요성 인지정도 및 수행도를 파악하고 간호수행도에 영향을 미치는 요인을 분 석할 필요가 있다고 생각한다. 본 연구는 간호사들을 대상으로 말초정맥주사 합병증 관리 간호수행의 중요성 인지도 및 수행도를 파악하고 간호 수행도에 영향을 미치는 요인을 분석하기 위한 서술적 조 사연구를 수행하였다. 본 연구의 대상은 B시에 소재한 2곳의 종합병원에 근무하는 간호사들 중 연구 참여에 동의한 151명의 간호사들을 대상으로 하였다. 말초 정맥 주사 합병증 예방관리에 대한 간호 수행 중요성 인지도 및 수행도의 측정은 간호 수행 중요성 인지도 54문항, 수행도 54문항으로 측정하 였다. 자료 분석 방법은 SPSS 20.0 프로그램을 이용하여 분석하였다. 본 연구의 결과 연구 대상자의 말초 정맥 주사 합병증 예방을 위한 간호수행 중요성 인지도(β=.495, p<.001)였으며, 이것은 간호 수 행도를 25.5% 설명하는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 말초 정맥 주사 관련 합병증 예방을 위한 교육 요구 도를 조사하여 교육 요구도를 반영한 교육프로그램을 개발하여 적용할 것을 제언한다.
Nursing behavior for prevention of complications of peripheral intravenous injection is important in the clinical field. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the perception and performance of peripheral intravenous injection. This study was done to investigate nurse’s perceived importance and performance of intravenous fluid therapy. Data collected from 151 nurses working in 2 general hospitals at B city. Data analyzed by SPSS WIN 20.0 on t-test, one way ANOVA, Pearson’s correlation analysis and stepwise multiple regression. As results, the significant major predictors was perceived importance of intravenous fluid therapy’s complication prevention(β=.495, p<.001). The explained variances for performance of intravenous fluid therapy’s complication prevention was 25.5% in nurses. Therefore to development of a nursing education programs for performance of intravenous fluid therapy’s complication prevention. It suggests a study to investigate the education needs for nurse’s perceived importance and performance of intravenous fluid therapy.
