본 연구는 학생봉사활동의 활성화를 위해 봉사활동 참여시간에 영향을 미치는 요인을 알아보고자 생 태체계적관점 맥락에서 개인, 가정, 학교, 기관이 봉사활동 참여시간에 미치는 영향을 살펴보는데 그 목 적이 있다. 이를 위해 경상남도내 거주하고 있는 중학교, 인문계 고등학교, 실업계 고등학교 학생 355명 을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였으며 SPSS(Ver. 12,0)을 사용하여 결과를 분석하였다. 분석결과 봉사 활동 참여시간에 영향을 주는 것 중에서 개인요인(성별, 학교유형, 지역, 참여형태, 도덕성, 지속의지), 학교요인(봉사활동 정보제공 및 지원부서 유무) 기관요인(사전교육의 유무, 희망에 따른 업무 배치정도, 봉사활동 내용 만족도, 담당직원과의 관계)은 봉사활동 참여시간에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으나 가정요인(부모의 봉사활동 참여경험 유무, 관심정도, 칭찬정도)은 통계적으로 유의미한 차이를 보이지 않았다. 이러한 연구결과들 토대로 학생봉사활동은 활동 특성 별로 동아리를 구성하여 운영하고, 학교에 서는 봉사활동 지원 부서를 설치하여 학생들에게 봉사활동에 대한 정보제공하고, 기관에서는 학생봉사 활동 지도 전문 인력을 배치 및 봉사활동 실시 전 활동에 대한 사전교육이 제도적으로 이루어져 학생봉 사활동이 체계적으로 관리될 수 있도록 해야 할 것이다.
The aim of this study is to identify the factors that influence the time spent volunteering by students in order to promote student volunteerism by examining the effects that individuals, homes, schools, and institutions have on the time spent volunteering in the context of an eco-systemic perspective. A survey was conducted among 355 students attending middle schools, academic and vocational high schools located in Gyeongsangnam-do. The survey results were then analyzed using SPSS. The analysis found that, among the factors affecting the time spent volunteering, individual factors, school factors, and institutional factors influenced the time spent volunteering, whereas domestic factors did not show a statistically significant difference. According to the study results, student volunteer activities should be organized around clubs that were formed based on the characteristics of such activities. Schools should provide students with information about volunteering by setting up volunteer support departments, while institutions should appoint professional instructors for student volunteerism and provide advance training programs regarding volunteering so that student volunteer activities can be systematically managed.
