The study was done on the activation plan for voluntary service system of student counsellors that is being practiced nationwide in order to help the healthy development of students. The followings show the summarized results of the study. The result shows that the voluntary counsellors have the trust of organization and coworkers, and do their jobs with the responsibility as one of the members in the organization. They are also mentally supported by their coworkers. However, the voluntary counsellors recognize the counselling activity as a professional activity that has education functions rather than as a social activity. The study shows that the voluntary counsellors have a positive emotional relationship with coworkers and organization. Third, the study examined the non-economical compensation and counsellors' recognition on the counselling training for the management of voluntary counsellors. As for the compensation, there are concern for others, understanding of oneself, self-virtue, and selfdevelopment. This shows that the voluntary service activity gives positive compensation in self-development and self-discovery. However, they had negative recognition for opportunity for future job and help from the organization.
