The turn of this century has marked rapid growth in smart phone market. Mobile Apps are now available for almost all areas of service due to competitive environment, the mobile App market has become competitive due to increase in no of providers. The usage of smart phone has increased greatly as new mobile technology allows the users to perform more tasks in a mobile context. This increase in usefulness makes it compulsory to evaluate the usability of mobile App as well. To ensure that the mobile App is accurate and useful one, need to evaluate the usability of mobile Apps. Usability testing consists of evaluating various software apps considering the functionality of the app and other conditions. Conducting enough usability test requires planning and attention to the evaluation details. In general, usability testing methods for mobile App take into considerations, planning usability questions, selecting a representative sample and recruiting participants, and preparing the test materials and actual test environment. Therefore, this paper aims to demonstrate the most used testing methods for the evaluation purposes of mobile Apps.
