The purpose of this study is to develop a group counseling program to improve indifferent attitude toward
group bullying of elementary school students and to assess its validity by implementing it.
This group counseling program to improve indifferent attitude toward group bullying is researched, analyzed,
designed, developed, applied. It surveyed 175 fifth grade elementary students for actual requirement. As a result,
this program consist of twelve session. It developed final program by pilot, experts of theories, on-the-spot
experts.
To verify the hypotheses, Questionnaire to measure indifferent attitude levels toward bullying is used. study
subjects selected was two classes among fifth grade students of C elementary school. the statistical results are
analyzed by Mixed ANOVA. And experience reports of the groups and observations by counselors were are
analyzed in order to supplement the reliability limits of quantitative result.
The results of this study were as follows : There were significant differences the changes in attitude toward
group bullying between the experimental group and control group. And also, as a result of analyzing experience
reports of the groups, observations by counselors, and program evaluation questionnaires, this program has proved
it has a positive effect on preventing bullying.
