본 연구는 청소년들의 게임 과몰입을 예방하기 위한 모형을 구안하고 구안된 모형 및 내용요소의 타당성 검증을 통해 예방모형을 개발하는 데 목적을 두었다. 모형 개발을 위한 연구 절차로는 먼저, 문헌연구를 통해 게임 과몰입에 대한 개념 및 게임 과몰입의 관련 변인의 특성, 기존 프로그램에 대한 내용을 분석하여 그 개념을 도출하였다. 둘째, 게임 과몰입 청소년 및 현장 전문가를 대상으로 심층면담을 실시하고, 그 결과를 분석하여 게임 과몰입의 특성을 파악하고 구성요소를 도출하여 모 형을 구성하였다. 구성된 초안에 대해 전문가 협의를 거치고 두 차례에 걸친 델파이 조사를 통해 ‘게임 과몰입 과정, 환경요소, 게임 과몰입 청소년상담, 예방모형의 구성요소’의 네 가지 영역의 구 성으로 이루어진 게임 과몰입 예방모형을 도출하였다. 본 연구의 결론으로 첫째, 게임 과몰입 예방 모형은 청소년에 대한 과정 전체에 대한 다각적인 이해가 요구됨을 알 수 있었다. 둘째, 게임 과몰 입은 여러 요인간 상호작용의 결과임이 밝혀졌다. 셋째, 게임 과몰입 청소년의 상담에서 부모교육이 반드시 병행되어야 함이 밝혀졌다. 끝으로, 게임 과몰입 상담 전문가의 전문적인 자질이 요구됨이 밝혀졌다.
The purpose of this study was to construct a prevention model for adolescents' game overindulgence and to test the validity of the model. Two research questions set up for the study were the followings: 1) What are main domains and their content factors of the prevention model for adolescents' game overindulgence, which is based on literature on game overindulgence, an analysis of existing programs and in-depth interviews with specialists in consultation for adolescents. 2) Is the prevention model for adolescents' game overindulgence valid? For the first research question to be answered, firstly, previous studies analyzed the concept of adolescents' game overindulgence and the related variables, and designed a draft of a program model based on in-depth interviews by counseling specialists for adolescents. For the second one to be answered, delphi was conducted twice in order to verify the content validity of the draft. Delphi verification for the content validity was rated by using 5.0 Likert scale in terms of representativeness, clarity, and comprehensiveness. The model was revised after analyzing the mean scores of each item, the content validity ratio(CVR) and opinions suggested by delphi panel. Reflecting numerical results of the first delphi performed and opinions from experts, a questionnaire for the second delphi was constructed and then conducted. According to the second delphi survey, the degree of consensus among panel of experts was relatively high in that the average is more than 4.5 and the content validity ratio is 1.00. As a result, the finalized prevention model of game overindulgence consists of a total of 15 categories, 45 sub-divisions and 48 details. It is as follows: 1. the process of game overindulgence, 2. the environmental factor of adolescents overindulged in games, 3. the characteristic of counseling for adolescents overindulged in games, 4. the content elements of counseling for adolescents overindulged in games. The conclusion of this study is as follows. First, the prevention model of game overindulgence requires ecological understanding about adolescents overindulged in games and therefore needs to be started from understanding of the process of overindulgence in games and the related environmental factors. Second, it was proved that the prevention model was the process driven by interaction among environmental factors around adolescents, which are parents, schools, and a game itself. Finally, the study showed counselors for adolescents overindulged in games should be equipped with professional qualification and cultivating specialists should also be required.
