본 연구는 성인애착과 낙관성, 그리고 사회불안 간의 관계를 보면서, 낙관성이 성인애착과 사회불안 사이에서 어떤 영향을 미치는지 연구하고자 하였다. 연구대상은 부산에 소재한 대학의 대학생 316명 을 대상으로 하였고, 성인애착척도, 낙관성척도, 사회불안척도를 사용하여 설문조사를 실시하였다. 본 연구의 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 대학생의 성별에 따른 차이를 보면, 성인애착과 사회불 안에서 남학생이 여학생보다 높게 나타났다. 둘째, 성인애착과 사회불안의 관계가 성별에 무관하게 정적상관이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 대학생의 성인애착과 낙관성을 보면 남학생은 성인애착의 모든 하위요소와 낙관성이 부적상관을 나타내었고, 여학생은 성인애착불안만이 부적상관을 나타내었 다. 넷째, 남녀 모두 낙관성이 사회불안과 부적상관을 나타내었다. 마지막으로 성별에 관계없이 성인 애착과 사회불안 사이에서 낙관성이 부분매개효과를 보이는 것으로 나타났다. 이 연구의 의의 및 제 한점, 추후 연구에 대한 제언 등이 논의되었다.
This study was undertaken to examine the relationship among adult attachment, optimism and social anxiety. This study was investigated the mediating effect of optimism on the relationship between adult attachment and social anxiety. The participants of the study were 316 university students in Busan. Correlations, a multiple regression and hierarchical multiple regression analysis were conducted to analyze the data. The purpose of this study designed to provide some help in understanding the relationship among adult attachment, optimism, and social anxiety of university students'. In addition, this study contributes to the research on decreasing university students' adult attachment and social anxiety and to increase optimism. Based on the findings, limitations of the current study and suggestions for further research were offered.
