The purpose of this study was to explore the experience of the fathers who participated in the education provided at the Duranno father school. Fathers who attended the Duranno father school within the last 2years and 6months were participated in an individual interview. The transcripts of interviews were analyzed by the phenomenological method of Giorgi. The findings were as follows. First, 4 components and 13 sub-components were verified. 4 components were ‘not knowing how to live’, ‘the turning point of life', ’happiness by the changes of life’, and ‘the change of life as a sublimation’. Second, the structure of the experience was from not knowing how to live as a good father to getting inner growth and happiness through Duranno father school. This experience was sublimated into sharing one’s life. Conclusion and implications of the study were discussed. Suggestions for further research were also provided.
