The purpose of the study was to develop university student’s job-seeking anxiety reduction training program and
to examine its effect. For this, based on previous studies on university student’s job-seeking anxiety and factors
relieving job-seeking anxiety, the study developed a training program to reduce job-seeking anxiety. To test
effects of the program, a pretest was conducted for experimental and control group with 12 students each, and
a posttest was administered immediately after the program was finished. ANCOVA was used to test the
difference in the posttest scores between groups. The main results showed that the posttest score of experimental
group was far lower than that of control group in overall job-seeking anxiety. Also, the posttest score of
experimental group was much lower than that of control group in sub-factors of job-seeking anxiety. The main
results and some suggestions for future research were discussed.
