본 연구는 초심집단상담자들이 구조화 집단상담에서 경험하는 어려움에 대해서 알아보고자 하였다. 이를 위해 총 87명의 초심집단상담자를 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였고, 분석방법은 CQR-M을 사 용하였다. 연구결과 5개의 영역과 9개의 범주, 31개의 하위범주가 도출되었다. 첫 번째 영역은 집단 및 프로그램 구성의 어려움으로, 구조화 프로그램 구성의 어려움과 집단 구성 및 환경적 어려움의 2개 범주로 나타났다. 두 번째 영역은 과정 운영 및 역동으로 인한 어려움으로, 집단운영에서 유연 성 부족, 집단과정에 대한 지식과 기술의 부족, 집단 역동 다루기의 3개 범주로 나뉘었다. 세 번째 영역은 다루기 어려운 집단원으로, 집단원의 집단에 대한 저항의 1개 범주가 도출되었다. 네 번째 영역은 집단상담자로서 내적 어려움으로, 초심집단상담자의 부정적 내적반응의 1개 범주로 나타났 다. 다섯 번째 영역은 집단상담 평가의 어려움으로, 성과에 대한 만족도 부족과 집단 평가 한계의 2 개 범주로 나뉘었다. 본 연구는 초심집단상담자가 구조화 집단상담의 어려움을 경험적 연구를 통해 확인하고, 초심집단상담자에게 구조화 집단상담 교육에서 필요한 측면을 제시하였다는 것에 의의가 있다.
This study examines the novice group counselors difficulties experienced in structured group counseling. For this study, a total of 87 novice group counselors were surveyed and CQR-M was used for analysis. The analysis can be categorized into five major domains consisting of 9 categories and 31 subcategories. First, the difficulties of group and program components were split into 2 categories: difficulties in the structured program components, and difficulties of environment configuration. Second, the difficulties of group process operation and group dynamics were split into 3 categories: lack of flexibility in group counseling operations, group process for the lack of knowledge and skills, and to deal with group dynamics. Third, unwieldy group members was placed into 1 category: the resistance of group members at the group counseling. Fourth, group counselors' internal difficulties was placed into 1 category: negative internal reaction of the novice counselors. Lastly, difficulties of group counseling evaluation was split into 2 categories: lack of satisfaction on outcomes, and limits of group evaluation. This study details the difficulties that novice group counselors experienced and critical information about educating them in structured group counseling.
