새로운 기술과 영역들이 합쳐져서 또 다른 새로운 기술이 생겨나고 다양한 사회문제들이 발생하는 오늘날에 학문적 융합의 중요성은 더욱 강조되고 있다. 이에 한국연구재단은 융합연구의 필요성을 강 조하며 학제간 융합연구지원사업을 2009년부터 추진해오고 있다. 현재까지 결과물들의 양적인 축적과 함께 이 사업을 통하여 많은 연구자들이 융합연구를 수행해왔다. 융합연구는 현 시대에 요구되어지는 연구패러다임임에 틀림없고 이점이 있음에도 불구하고 여전히 연구자들은 융합연구의 독특한 특성으 로 인해 어려움을 겪고 있다. 이제는 연구자들에게 융합연구에 대한 긍정적 인식을 형성시켜 만족도 를 높이는 것이 무엇보다 필요하다. 따라서 본 연구는 경험관리 관점에서 융합연구를 통해 겪는 경험 을 측정하여 그 경험을 통한 만족도를 분석하였다. 그 결과, 다양한 관점을 지닌 연구자들과 친분을 맺을 수 있고 타전공의 연구원들과 소통하고 이해하는 정도가 향상될 수 있다는 긍정적인 경험이 융 합연구를 특징지을 수 있는 가장 중요한 경험이었다. 반면 여전히 타 전공분야에 대한 지식 부족과 성과물에 대한 압박감은 융합연구를 힘들게 하는 부정적인 경험이었다. 연구자들은 융합연구 프로세 스와 결과물에 대한 만족도가 높았고 융합연구 재시도 욕구, 지속 의향, 추천 의사 등도 높았다. 무엇 보다도 연구진과의 소통과 이해, 화합에 대한 긍정 경험은 융합연구의 만족도를 높일 수 있는 주요한 경험으로 이러한 긍정 경험을 증대시킨다면 융합연구에 대한 만족도가 높아질 것이다.
The importance of academic convergence is emphasized in today's world where new technologies and areas are combined to create new technologies and various social problems. At this point, the Korea Research Foundation emphasizes the necessity of convergence research and has been promoting interdisciplinary research projects since 2009. So far, many researchers have conducted convergence researches through this project accumulating research results. It is now necessary for researchers to increase their satisfaction by forming a positive awareness of convergence research. Therefore, this study measured the experiences from the perspective of experience management and analyzed the satisfaction induced from these experiences. As a result, it is the most positive experience in the interdisciplinary research that researchers can get acquainted with other researchers having various perspectives and researchers can improve the level of the communication and understanding with other researchers. However, it is the most negative experience that researchers have difficulties due to the lack of knowledge on other major fields and researchers feel pressure on industrial achievements. Nevertheless, researchers were highly satisfied with the research process and outcomes through the interdisciplinary research project and showed the high intention of retry, retention, and recommendation on interdisciplinary research. Above all, the positive experience in communication, understanding, and harmony with the researchers is a major experience that can enhance the researcher’s satisfaction.
