The purpose of this study was to explore the construction of the healthy school ecology for
the Humanity Education through schooling. Based on the antecedent studies, the major element
of the construction of desirable school ecology for the Humanity Education in school was to
build the educational community in school based on the cooperation of the school administrator,
teachers, students parents, and community. And the major elements for building educational
community in the elementary school and secondary school were relational care, democratic
participation, shared vision, and solidarity-based cooperation. The implication of this study was
that building educational community in the school as an element of the healthy school ecology
could encourage the autonomy, responsibility, and the consiousness of democracy of the
students, and it could develop the humanity of each student based on the caring and empathy.
