The purpose of this study was to explore the component area and measurement elements of educational outcomes for special education students in order to lay the foundation for effective measurements for educational outcomes. The literature study was conducted in order to solve the problem by introducing the concept of quality of life and navigates component area and measurement elements of educational outcomes for special education students. The results of this study are as follows. First, the component area of educational outcomes for special education students are composed of personal development, physical well-being, emotional well-being in the pedagogical point of view, rights, social inclusion, interpersonal relationships in the sociological point of view, and material well-being, self-determination in economic point of view. Second, the result of examining on conformity in the measurement elements of educational outcomes for special education students and components of quality of life found a correlation with the goals of IDEA, measurement elements of educational outcomes, components of quality of life.
