This study is conducted to comprehend the communication experience of deaf couple by means of qualitative study. To accomplish such purpose, data were collected from 5 deaf couples using in-depth interview. Acquired data were then processed with case and subject analysis. In result, communication experience of deaf couple are analyzed as followed. ‘Using sign language is not fully satisfactory in communication between couple’, ‘Communicating is somewhat difficult and uncomfortable’, ‘Relay interpretation or sign language is required in family communication’, ‘Multifarious measures are employed in communication using electronic device’, ‘No information available or lateness’ Through these analysis, the study propose social welfare implication associated with communication of deaf people.
