The purpose of this study is to examine the effectiveness of after school care children\'s social competency and character of acts through group activity program. Character of acts is consist of attack characteristic, assertion characteristic and obedience characteristic.
The research questions for this study are as follows:First, will the after school care children\'s social competency of experimental group be improved significantly in positive way than before the treatment?
Second, will the after school care children\'s action tendency of experimental group be improved significantly in positive way than before the treatment?
The subjects in this study were 20after school care children.
They were randomly assigned to the experimental group (n=10) and control group (n=10). The experimental group was given group experiences program on sessions 2 weeks for 2 months. The control group was not given treatment during the 2 month program.
In conclusion ; 1. The experimental group, who participated in the after school care group activity program which executes the study had an effect on social ability improvement.
2. The experimental group, who participated in the after school care group activity program which executes the study had an effect to attack characteristic and assertion characteristic. But there was no effect on obedience characteristic.
