본 연구는 재혼가족에서 생활하는 청소년들이 맺는 친부모관계 및 새부모관계가 재혼가족에 대한 고정관념 및 재혼가족신화 즉 재혼가족을 초혼가족과 동일시하는 믿음과 어떠한 상관이 있는지 알아보는데 그 목적이 있다. 본 연구를 위해 필요한 설문지는 직접 제작하였으며 재혼가정에서 생활하는 중·고등학생 43명의 응답을 분석자료로 사용하였다. 자료분석으로는 빈도, 백분율, Cronbach\'s α 계수와 Pearson\'s r을 사용하였다. 분석결과 유의미하게 나온 연구결과는 첫째, 친부모와의 관계가 좋은 청소년이 새부모와의 관계가 더 좋고, 재혼가족을 초혼의 핵가족처럼 보려는 믿음을 더 많이 가지고 있으며 재혼가족에 대한 고정관념은 더 적게 가지고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 새부모와의 관계가 좋은 청소년이 재혼가족을 초혼가족처럼 보려는 믿음을 더 많이 가지고 있으며 재혼가족에 대한 고정관념은 더 적게 갖는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 재혼가족에 대한 고정관념이 많은 청소년은 재혼가족을 정상가족으로 보려는 믿음을 적게 갖는 것으로 나타났다.
The purpose of this study was to investigate the interpersonal relationships within blended families and to examine stepfamily stereotypes and myths. The subject of this study were 43 stepfamily adolescents living in Seoul. The major significant findings were as follows: stepfamily adolescents\' relationship with their remarried parent was positively related to the relationship with their stepparent. The relationships with the remarried parent and stepparent of adolescents were each negatively correlated to the stepfamily stereotype. The relationship with the remarried parent and stepparent of adolescents were each positively correlated to the stepfamily myth. Finally, the stepfamily myth accepted by stepfamily adolescents was negatively related to the stepfamily stereotype.
