The purpose of this study was to clarify the relationship between parents\' sense of communit and children\'s emotional intelligence and adjustment to preschool. The objects of this stusy were total 407 children of age 5 at preschools in Gumi and Kimcheon, Kyeongsangbuk-do. Collected data were statistically processed as frequency and percentage mean and standard deviation, correlation analysis using SPSSWIN 10.0 Program. The results\' sense of community and children\'s adjustment to preschool was comparatively low.
