The purpose of this study was to find the differences among teachers of the five factor personality and the thinking style, and to examine relative potency of the five factor personality in predicting thinking style. The participants were 175 from secondary school teachers. Their personality was measured by International Personality Item Pool Five Factor Personality Inventory(IPIP FFPI), and their thinking style was measured by Thinking Styles Questionnaire for Teachers(TSQT). Based on the results, firstly, the significant differences of the personality and the thinking style was identified by the characteristics(the level of the schools, sex, the years of education, and subject) of the teachers. Secondly, the correlation between the five factor personality and the thinking style was revealed; the positive correlation coefficient were between the openness to experience and legislative, between the extroversions, conscientiousness and executive, judical, between agreeableness and legislative, global thinking style, but the negative correlation coefficient was between neuroticism and all variables of the thinking style. The thinking style was influenced 6～16% significantly by the five factor personality, and the influence of each personality was differed by each thinking style. Based on these results, it is important to understand the differences among teachers of the five factor personality and the thinking style, and to imply the educational and executive support to the teachers.
