본 연구에서는 우리나라 청소년들의 생활스트레스가 자살계획에 미치는 영향과 부모와 친구에 의한 사회적 지원의 완충효과를 알아보았다. 2004년 4월 중에 고등학교에 재학 중인 남녀 학생들을 대상으로 설문조사를 통하여 자료를 수집하였다. 결과 분석에는 521명의 자료가 사용되었으며 SPSS 11.5를 이용하여 기술통계분석과 로지스틱 회귀분석 등을 실시하였다. 분석결과, 생활스트레스는 자살계획을 증가시키는 것으로 나타났다. 그리고 부모에 의한 사회적 지원은 생활스트레스에 의한 자살계획을 감소시키지만, 친구에 의한 사회적 지원 등은 생활스트레스에 의한 자살계획을 감소시키지 못하는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 청소년 자살계획에 영향을 미치는 생활스트레스 요인을 규명하고, 부모와 친구에 의한 사회적 지원의 기능을 보여준다는 점에 의의가 있다. 주제어: 청소년, 생활스트레스, 자살계획, 사회적 지원
This study investigates the effects of life stress and social support from parents and friends on suicidal plan among korean adolescents. Subjects for the survey were male and female students who were attending high school in April 2004. Data from 521 adolescents was analyzed through descriptive statistics and logistic regression, using the SPSS 11.5. As a result, life stress increases suicidal plans and social support from parents decrease the suicidal plan that was caused by life stress. But social support from friends does not decreases the suicidal plans. This study identifies the cause of adolescent suicidal plan as life stress. Also, it determines the effect of social support from parents and friends on adolescent suicidal behavior. Key word : adolescent, life stress, suicidal plan, social support
