본 연구는 연구 참여자들의 구술 자료를 토대로 자립생활 경험을 연구했다. 연구는 근거이론 방 법으로 접근했고, 10명의 재가 · 시설 장애인들이 참여했으며 자료는 일대일 심층면담과 문서기록 수집을 통해 구성했다. 자료 분석의 결과, 114개의 개념과 35개의 하위범주 그리고 13개의 범주를 구성했으며, 연구 참여자들의 자립생활 실천 경험을 살펴보았다. 인과적 조건은 “그림자 가족”, “떠 도는 삶”, “주문형 인간으로 살기”로 했고, 중심 현상은 “극한으로 떨어짐”으로 나타났다. 맥락적 조 건은 “사회적 가학의 희생양”, “장애 헤게모니”로 나타났고, 중재적 조건은 “지지체계”, “생활 체계 의 소유”로 나타났다. 작용/상호작용 전략은 “장애각성”, “삶의 재건 계획”, 결과는 “세상을 향해 뻗 어나가기”, “함께하는 삶”으로 나타났다. 선택코딩에서는 핵심범주 고르기와 유형분석을 했다. 핵심 범주는 「주변부로 밀려난 삶」으로 나타났다. 유형분석은 Strauss and Corbin이 제시한 방법에 따 라 심사숙고형, 행동지향형, 지지동원형으로 분류했다. 연구 참여자들은 장애인들에게 자립생활은 안전과 행복만을 보장하는 비단길이 아니며, 소수자 연대의식이 중요하고 장애인 자립생활 유형은 다양해야 한다고 제안했다.
This study is aimed to research the experience of the Independent living for people with the disability by qualitative research. Data for this study was collected through in depth interviews and was later analyzed based on using ground theory approach (Strauss and Corbin) documenting the expression of Independent living for the disabled. The way of analysis for data is constant compare including open cording, axial cording, selective cording, conditional cording. The core of category for the selective cording is ‘from outside living to the resisted living’. This study is included 114 The core concept, 35 sub category, 14 category. The participants tell Independent living for the disabled is not very easy. They need peer support advocacy and individualized support program for the Independent living. This study suggests Individualized support program in the Independent Living Center and specialized advocacy system and personal budget
