This study was conducted to examine the moderating effects of social support between the disabilities
acceptance and posttraumatic growth(PTG) among people with acquired physical disability. This study
was conducted on 192 people with questions on disability types, socio-demographic factors, social support,
disabilities acceptance, PTG. Collected data were analyzed by t-test, moderated multiple regression and
simple slope analysis. The Results were as follows: First, disabilities acceptance were significantly related
to the PTG. Second, disabilities acceptance and social support were significantly related to the PTG. Third,
social support moderated between the disabilities acceptance and PTG. Based on these findings, practical
strategies of intervention for social worker were suggested to improve their quality of life.
