본 연구는 중도장애인의 장애수용이 중도장애의 외상을 극복하고 외상 후 성장에 미치는 영향을 탐색하고, 장애수용이 외상 후 성장에 미치는 영향을 사회적 지지가 조절하는지 검증하기 위한 목 적으로 수행되었다. 이를 위해 중도장애인 192명을 대상으로 조절회귀식을 사용하여 분석하였다. 연구결과 첫째, 장애수용은 중도장애인의 외상 후 성장에 정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 사회적 지지는 중도장애인의 장애수용이 외상 후 성장에 미치는 영향을 조절하는 것으로 나 타났다. 즉, 사회적지지 수준이 높은 집단의 경우 장애수용 수준이 높아질수록 외상 후 성장이 높 아지는 경향을 보이며 사회적지지 수준이 낮은 집단에서도 장애수용 수준이 높을수록 외상 후 성 장이 높아지는 경향을 보이지만, 사회적 지지가 높은 집단보다는 완만한 기울기를 보이는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 연구결과들을 토대로 중도장애인의 외상 후 성장을 증진시키기 위한 사회복지 실 천방안들을 제언하였다.
This study was conducted to examine the moderating effects of social support between the disabilities acceptance and posttraumatic growth(PTG) among people with acquired physical disability. This study was conducted on 192 people with questions on disability types, socio-demographic factors, social support, disabilities acceptance, PTG. Collected data were analyzed by t-test, moderated multiple regression and simple slope analysis. The Results were as follows: First, disabilities acceptance were significantly related to the PTG. Second, disabilities acceptance and social support were significantly related to the PTG. Third, social support moderated between the disabilities acceptance and PTG. Based on these findings, practical strategies of intervention for social worker were suggested to improve their quality of life.
