The purposes of this study are to observe the child rearing experience of mom with infancy children and, on the basis of this, to look into a way of parent education as a professional support for parent with infant. For this, in-depth interviews were carried out with 5 mothers rearing young children under 36 months. The findings of this study were as follows.
First, Mothers experienced physical and psychological fatigues from considerable changes of themselves and conditions, also excessive time-spending by trial and error according to lack of concrete knowledges on child rearing. Second, They relieved difficulties of rearing through various paths of child rearing support, but simultaneously met the problems of each path. Third, They demanded parent education programs suitable for parent rearing infancy child that could reduce difficulties of rearing and support a desirable child rearing and education. As findings of this study, it is necessary to develop parent education programs for parent with infancy child and various paths for effective provision of parent education.
