It is not only possible but also effective to educate children because of their unlimited potential ans the desire for improvement. Education enables human to be human, and it starts with the children. Dance education for chileren considers to be the basics of all education ahd the means of the totality of education because it enables them to realize the whole new concept about how to express their own thoughts through their bodies. Therefore this study intends to suggest the ideal program model of the dance education for children as an important total education. In order to achieve that purpose, I programmed this study with four areas which are divided to psychomotor, cognitive, affective, and social development. All four of teem are essential because they would be the results and the effects of the dance education program model of children is divided into three different stages which are level Ⅰ,Ⅱ and Ⅲ according to their ages. It is also concentrated on the purpose, means, contens, and the assessment of the dance education programs model for children. As a result of those coniderations. the essential elements which are the dance education program model for children should have, are below. First, the dance education is very important especially in one\'s childhood because one of its objects is to make him of her are ideal human being so the lovel of each child\'s physical, cognitive, affective and social development. Second, the contents of the dance education enables the children to understant the relations among the body, space and the force in order to achive the physical, cognitive, affective and the social purpose naturally throuhg their creative, physical activities. Third, concerning the means of the dance education, time should be limited to an hour and the class should also be limited to three times a week. The classroom should have more than two wall-to-wall mirrours and the floor should be made of wood. There should be several additional devices such as the record player, and since the music is essential to this program, it is better to choose familiar one to chileren. Forth, since the assessment of the program is the continual process of how well he purpose of the dance education is achieved, the effects and the result of the program should be measured by the means of the absolute-assessment, and ot could be done by the teacher, by the peers or by themselves depending on dirrernt circumstances. Also the program should provide a chance for children to be involved and to explore themselves through performance 1 or 2 times a yea. As a conclusion the dance educaion program for chileren which is discussed abouve, should be able to provide more active element of life, and because of that, it should help them to be more creative ans interactive in everyday life.
