영문초록

The purpose of this study is to seek an ideal evaluation method in the physical education by adoptin portfolio assessment in elemantary school. The subjects were a total of 75 that were randomly wampled from two classes in fifth grade of Y elementary school in Taegu. Those students were divided into two group: One waws the portfolip assessment group (a study group). ans the other was the traditional assessment group ( a comparative group). Then they each had three hours of physical education classes for simple soccer relay, and horizontal bar to find out changes in affective domain and psychomotor domain. Before and after the application of the assessment program. questionnaires on \'attitude examination of physical study by Kobayashi were done to examing the variety of affective domain. And also they were asked to submit appreciation notes on their activities after the classes were over for further assessment. Psychomotor domain tests dribbling soccer, relay and single knee swing-up of horizontal bar. were done separately taking certain time before and after the each class. ANCOVA was used to check the effect of affective domain and physhomotor domain of the each group. Single knee swing-up of hocizontal bar. x2 examination was also done and analyzed to get the following results. 1. It was found that the portfolio assessment was efficient to enhance the pleasure of affective domain and evaluation elements. 2.Through the appreciation notes from the students it was known that the portfolio assessment was effective in affective domain. such as positive pearning activity for students interats with peers or with teachers and pleasant physical education class. 3. For other element of affective domain such as the value of physical education was not shown in the three week assessment process that was considered to be short for that. 4. Portfolip assessment was effective in dribbling soccer ball and single knee swing-up of horizontal bar in which individual skills were calued while traditional assessment was more efficient in relay in which cooperative spirit was more important. 5. Portfolio assessment was more reasonably adoptable to female students who were considered to have lover ablity for locomotion in dribbling soccer ball and single knee swing-up of horizontal bar.
