The purpose of this study was to find out the effects of combined aerobic elastic band exercise on the estradiol, IGF-I and
CA15-3 which will lead extend life span and prevent recurrence of breast cancer survivors. A subjects were eighteen breast
cancer survivors and thery were randomly assigned either aerobic elastic band training exercise group(n=9) or a daily base care
control group(n=9). Combined exercise group did a exercise intervention program with 40-75% of HRR for 40-65min, 3days per
week during 12week. We measured a estradiol, IGF-I and CA15-3 at baseline and 12 weeks. There were significantly difference
between groups which were showing a decreasing level of estradiol and IGF-I in combined exercise group, but no significant
changes in control group. In addition there was no significanly different in CA15-3 between group. In conclusion, combined
exercise intervention program showing a positive effect which leads a decreasing level in estradiol and IGF-I in breast cancer
survivors.
