To examine how much the progressive load of rope jumping has the influence on cardiovascular endurance of primary pupils, this study performed a progressive load test via rope jumping for 8 weeks in regular and continuous ways by random sampling of thtal 60 shbjects (consisting of 30 males and 30 females in the 5th grade of Y Elementary School in K city, Chungnam Province)
As a method of rope jumping, jump forward jump back, switch jumping and twice jump were selected.
By performing pretest and post-test, this study examined the enhancement of running capabilities and cardiovascular functions through t-test results.
To examine whether there were any significant differences in average among three groups depending on rome jumping methods, this study analyzed those differnces among three groups through ANCOVA and Scheffe\'s test by assuming pretest as co-variant factor.
The results of analysis can be summarized as follows:
1. The progressive load of rope jumping had more or less effects in the enhancement of running capabilities of primary pupils.
2. The progressive load of rope jumping had effects on engancing the cardiovascular functions of primary pupils.
3. The progressive load of rope jumping had more or less influences on differences among each group.
