본 연구의 목적은 고등학생의 자기결정성이 진로장벽지각과 진로태도성숙에 미치는 영향을 보는 데 있다. 연구의 목적을 위하여 부산광역시 소재 4개 고등학교 1, 2학년에 재학 중인 학생 500명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시, 454부의 자료를 분석하였다. 분석 결과는 첫째, 자기결정성은 진로장벽지 각과 유의미한 부적상관관계를 나타내고 있고 있으며 진로태도성숙과는 유의미한 정적상관관계를 보 이고 있다. 둘째, 자기결정성의 하위요인인 자율성, 유능감, 관계성은 모두 진로장벽지각에 부적영향 을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 즉 자율성, 유능감, 관계성이 높을수록 진로장벽지각의 정도는 낮아지는 것으로 볼 수 있다. 셋째, 자기결정성은 진로태도성숙과 유의미한 정적 상관관계를 가지며, 자기결정 성의 하위요인인 자율성, 유능감, 관계성이 높은 사람은 진로태도성숙도가 높은 것으로 나타났다. 이 결과는 고등학생들을 위한 진로지도에 있어 우선적으로 자기 결정성과 관련된 지도와 훈련이 필요함 을 시사한다고 볼 수 있다.
The purpose of this study was to find the effects of self determination on the perceived career barriers and career attitude maturity of high school students. For this study, self-reports data from 454 high school students in Pusan area were collected. The findings from this study are as follows. First, there was a high negative correlation between the factors of self-determination and the factors of perceived carrier barriers. Students who had high self-determination were more likely to perceive the carrier barriers little. Second, among the constructs of career barriers, lack of self-confidence and lack of self-apprehension of carrier barriers were explained 39% and 26% by the scores of self-determination respectively. Third, there was a high positive correlation between the factors of self determination and the factors of career attitude maturity of high school students. The students in high self-determination tend to score higher on career attitude maturity. Fourth, the scores of self-determination explained 36% on the construct of decisiveness. The above-mentioned results suggest that self-determination of high school students plays an important role in decreasing carrier barriers and increasing career attitude maturity. This study also implies that it is necessary to help the high school students enhance their autonomy and encourage to feel their competence in their life.
