The pur[ose of this study is to; dicuss the prerequisite abilities of sperical school physical education teachers based on the seventh special school curriculum and Paralympics events, introdece the problems of cultivation special school physical teachers based on the curriculum of the spcial physical education teahers\' training school, and to fine a intellectual solution of the special school physical education teacher training problem through the example of United States of America. The following results were deduced from the research. In Korea, there are no evident attempts on stipulating the required qualities or abilities which sperical school physical education teachers should have. Therefore, in order to cultivate talented sperical physical education teachers, there must be a definite standard illustrating the qualifications of spericial physical education teachers and introduce a standard curricula for training sperial physical education teachers, or reorganize the special physical educaion teacher licence, and improve the contents of research study to grant such licences and extend the opportunity of such research studies. Furthermore, considering special classes and integrated education in general schools, the university of education must ormanize spericl physical education courses besides sperical educaion courses so that pre-teachers may understand that disabled children can partivipate and enjoy in physical education courses. The establishment of special physical education graduated schools is especially important to train general teachers on special physical educaion , and cultivate special physical educaion experts.
