The purpose of this study was to examine which influence the teachers' status has upon
toddlers' recognition level of life respect, practice level, and practice intention after inquiring into
the current recognition level, practice level, and future practice intention as teachers' recognition
on life respect. For this, as a result of carrying out questionnaire targeting the teachers, who are
engaging in early childhood education, and the toddlers, the toddlers' recognition level on life
respect was indicated not to be greatly influenced by the teachers' recognition level. The teachers'
recognition on life respect in ecological protection, self-respect, and community was indicated to
have influence upon the toddlers' recognition level, practice level, and practice intention.
Through the influence upon toddlers according to early childhood teachers' recognition level,
practice level, and practice intention of life respect, there is significance in a sense that a teacher
as a helper has very important meaning as well as the foundation that offers environment of life
respect to toddlers, along with providing basic data on the direction, educational objective,
educational contents, and practice method on the future early childhood education for life
respect. The early childhood education for life respect is a matter of life in all of you and me,
is what we need to proceed with living together, and has great implication to us. Hence, it can
be said that there is a need of seeking a practicable plan for life respect education and of
developing it in order to be possibly connected with diverse programs.
