The MeFOT-Based movement activity is an activity utilizing the MeFOT thinking which is a way
of creativity training. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effects of that activity on
young children's sociality. For this purpose, this researcher conducted a survey of 100 young
children at the age of 4 to 5 who were attending at kindergartens located in Busan. The
researcher provided those children with the MeFOT-Based movement activity over 12 weeks on
the basis of 1 session a week and, accordingly, and measured the participants to obtain data.
Then ANCOVA were conducted to statistically process those data. The findings of this study can
be summarized as follows. First, the MeFOT-Based movement activity effectively improves the
sociality of young children aged 4. Second, the MeFOT-Based movement activity is effectively in
improving the sub-areas of young children's sociality such as understanding others, self-regulation
and interaction with peers. Thus, it is recommendable that a new movement activity program on
the basis of the MoFOT-Based movement activity is built up in order to effectively improve the
sociality of young people.
