본 연구의 목적은 유아의 기질, 언어발달과 어머니의 자녀가치가 긍정적?부정적 또래와의 상호작용에 미치는 영향력을 알아보는데 있다. 이를 위해 육아정책연구소의 한국아동패널 4차년도(2011) 자료를 사용하였다. 연구대상은 36개월 이상의 유아와 어머니 1,718쌍이다. 수집된 자료는 구조모형으로 통계처리하였는데 모델의 적합도는 우수하였다. 연구결과, 기질은 긍정적?부정적 또래와의 상호작용에 영향을 미치는 강력한 변인이었다. 활동성과 사회성의 기질은 긍정적 또래와의 상호작용에는 강한 정적 영향력을, 부정적 또래와의 상호작용에는 강한 부적 영향력을 미치고 있었다. 유아의 언어발달, 어머니의 자녀가치, 취업상황도 긍정적?부정적 또래와의 상호작용에 영향을 주고 있었는데 긍정적 또래와의 상호작용에는 긍정적 영향력을, 부정적 또래와의 상호작용에는 약한 부정적 영향력을 미치고 있었다.
The purpose of this study was to investigate the influences of the child’s temperament, the child’s language development, and the mothers’ child value on the child’s positive or negative peer interaction. The data were collected from 1,718 children aged more than 36 months and their mothers who participated in the 4th Panel Study of Korean Children by Korea Institute of Child Care and Education. The collected data were processed statistically by the structural model and the fitness of the model was excellent. The results showed that the child’s temperament was the strongest variable to affect the child’s positive or negative peer interaction. The temperament gave the strong positive influence on the positive peer interaction and the strong negative influence on the negative peer interaction. The child’s language development and mothers’ child value also gave impacts on the child’s positive or negative peer interaction.
