The purpose of this study is to examine how elementary school students perceive extra curricular organization in Elementary School. These days there is emphasized participation and spontaneousness of students in seventh extra-curriculum before everything else. Therefore it is so required to understand the management state of elementary school extra-curriculum and to find out its problem from the perspective of students. For this purpose, documents review and questionnaire survey was mainly used in this study. On the basis of many kind of reference materials and research data it is analyzed how extra curriculum activities of the 7th national curriculum is operated in elementary schools, to seek ways to improve extra curriculum activities and to be more helpful and efficient extra-curriculum for students\' whole development.
As for the investigation tool, the investigator made up of a questionnaire consisting of 7 items based on the theoretical advice. The subjects in this study were 15 elementary school students which were randomly sampled in busan province of south korea. The collected data were analyzed using the SPSS 12.0 Window Program in frequency, percentage, , t-test and ANOVA.
The results of this study are as follows. Above all things among the five activity fields of extra curriculum activities, many percent of students laid emphasis on a development activity and concentrated their attention on that. So balance and distribution of time and contents in each part of extra-curriculum is needed.
Second Students showed interest highly in extra-curricular activities and regarded that as important as subject lesson and they think these course is helpful in their growth and development but the factor that they consider to have practical influences on the operation of extra-curricular activities at school was not the students themselves. Besides the use of local figures or parents was poor.
