5.31 개혁이후 학교교육의 패러다임은 공급자 중심 교육에서 수요자 중심 교육으로 옮겨가고 있다. 수요자 중심교육이란 교육을 받는 학생의 실제적 능력과 잠재적 가능성에 기초하여 교육적 필요를 충족시켜주는 교육을 의미 한다(김철, 2004). 수요자 중심 패러다임은 평가의 방향도 변화시키고 있다. 학생이 학교에서 주어진 교육을 얼마나 잘 학습 하였는가 뿐만 아니라, 학교 및 교사는 학습자의 특성을 반영하여 그 수준에 맞게 교육을 하였는가도 교육의 결과를 평가하는 중요한 요소로 등장하게 되었다. 이에 따라 학교에서 제공된 교육이 얼마나 학습자에게 적합하였는가를 평가하는 지표로 교육수요자 만족도조사의 중요성이 부각되고 있다.
In this study, the major purposes are to find the conception of parents\' satisfaction by searching past studies and to examine the affecting factors of parents\' satisfaction on the homeroom teacher. The main finding of this study are as follows. Firstly, the most influential factor for the parents\' satisfaction was the behavior property of the teacher. Supportive help was the most positive and influential factor(β=.293). Negative feedback & teacher direction(β=-.12) was negative factor. The work and orientation was positive(β=.12) Secondly, parents\' background and the teacher\'s background(gender, career, position, teachers organization)did not affect the parents\' satisfaction. The gender of the teacher affected the parents\' satisfaction a little. And the career of the teacher affected the parents\' satisfaction a little, too. But two background factors are not definite affecting factors.
