본 연구의 목적은 학습치료사가 갖추어야 할 전문적 지식과 기능들을 확인하고, 이를 기반으로 전문가 집단이라고 할 수 있는 학회차원에서 학습치료사를 체계적으로 양성하기 위해 필요한 교육과정에 대한 기초 안을 탐색해보는 것이었다. 이를 위해 본 연구에서는 학습장애/학습부진 학생 교육에 관심을 갖고 있는 특수교육학 분야의 전문가들을 대상으로 총 3회의 델파이 조사를 실시하였으며, 델파이 조사 결과에 대한 학회추천 학습치료 관련 전문가들과의 협의를 거쳤다. 1, 2, 3차 델파이 조사에서 전문가 집단의 패널들이 주제 영역별로 가장 중요하게 평가한 교과목을 중심으로 학회추천 학습치료 관련 전문가들과의 협의를 거쳐 학습치료사 연수를 위한 교육과정안을 마련하였다. 본 연구의 학습치료사 양성교육과정에 대한 탐색과 논의는 체계화된 양성체제를 구체화하는 데 하나의 자료로 활용될 수 있을 것이다.
The purpose of this study was to identify knowledge and capabilities required of learning disability specialists and to suggest training programs for raising their professionalism. In this study, Delphi investigations were conducted three times to the group of experts in the field of special education who had specialty in learning disabilities or low achievement. The results of the Delphi investigations were also discussed with experts on learning disabilities who were recommended by the Korean Association of Learning Disabilities. The training programs were recommended based on the Delphi investigations and panel discussions. The programs were composed of courses of four areas: Learning, behavior, evaluation, and consulting. Discussions were followed on the implementation of the training programs and how to improve their educational quality.
