본 연구의 목적은 연령에 따라 삼목게임에 나타나는 유아의 행동유형과 소요시간의 차이, 시간 의 경과에 따른 삼목게임에 나타나는 유아의 행동유형과 소요시간의 차이를 파악하여 삼목게임에 나타나는 유아의 학습과정을 알아보는데 있다. 이를 위해 서울과 경기지역 소재 유치원에 다니는 만 3세와 5세 각 30쌍을 대상으로 하였다. 연구결과 연령에 따라 삼목게임에 나타난 유아의 행동유 형과 소요시간, 시간의 경과에 따른 삼목게임에 나타나는 유아의 행동유형과 소요시간은 유의미한 차이가 있었다. 구체적으로 살펴보면 우선 5세가 3세 보다 전반적으로 더 높은 수준의 행동유형을 나타냈으며, 3세는 5세와 비교하여 게임에 소요되는 시간이 2배 정도 되며 편차가 3배 이상 큰 것으로 나타났 다. 시간의 경과에 따라 살펴보면 1회에 5세가 보이는 행동유형의 수가 3세보다 2배 이상 많지만 회를 거듭하면서 그 차이는 점차 줄어들었다. 연령에 따른 소요시간을 시간경과에 따라 나누어 살 펴보면 먼저, 게임을 시작한 초반에는 만 3세가 5세에 비해 2배 이상의 시간을 필요로 했으나 5회 부터 두 연령 간 소요시간의 차이가 점차 줄어들기 시작하여 마지막 12회에는 연령에 따른 게임 소요시간의 차이가 거의 나타나지 않았으며 편차 또한 점차 줄어들었다.
The purpose of this study is to analyze the type of children's behavior, the required time and the children's behavior types and the required time according to the process of time that appears in ‘Tic-Tac-Toe'. The subjects of this study were 30 couples each of 3-year-old and 5-year-old young children by age. The finding of this study can be summarized as follows. The results showed that in ‘Tic-Tac-Toe', children's behavior types, the time required, and two of them related to the number of times tended to have significant differences according to the participants' age. With times, sorts of the behavior type which 3-year-old children displayed were more than two times compared to initial operations. On the other hand, 5-year-old children had little difference. Moreover, the necessary time that 3-year-old children demanded was twice as much as the time that 5-year-old children did. Also, the variation of the needed time within 3-year-old children group was treble as much as that of the needed time within 5-year-old. However, the difference of necessary time gradually decreased with the passage of time.
