Currently, colleges have been subject to evaluate students competencies, apart from students academic achievement, in order to analyze the outcomes of college education performance. The purpose of this study is to analyze the changes of core competencies of college students and their course satisfaction in general education based on core competencies for college education performance. In order to do this, pre and post surveys were conducted on 160 college students. This study analyzed which core competencies had major changes among the core competencies of self-management, global, interpersonal, and resource information technology literacy competencies and students’ course satisfaction in general education. According to the results, a positive change was found in resource information technology literacy competency and students’ course satisfaction were above-average level. In light of this, this study provides significant preliminary data for further development of general education based on core competencies and suggests ways to improve students’ course satisfaction in general education.
