본 연구는 청소년의 대인관계위기와 자살생각, 희망의 관계를 살펴보고, 청소년의 대인관계위기와 자살생각의 관계에서 희망의 매개효과를 검증하고자 하였다. 연구 대상은 경기도에 소재하는 고등학교에 재학 중인 청소년을 대상으로 설문을 실시하여 474명을 최종 분석에 사용하였고, 모든 분석에는 SPSS 23.0 프로그램을 사용하였다. 본 연구의 주요 결과를 요약하면, 첫째, 청소년의 대인관계위기는 자살생각과 정적 상관이 그리고 희망의 하위요인인 주도사고와 경로사고와는 부적인 상관이 있으며, 주도사고와 경로사고는 자살생각과 부적 상관을 보였다. 둘째, 희망의 하위변인인 주도사고는 청소년의 대인관계위기와 자살생각을 부분 매개하고 있으나, 경로사고는 매개효과가 유의미하지 않은 것으로 확인되었다. 본 연구의 의의는 대인관계위기에서 희망이 자살생각에 보호요인으로 작용함을 밝혔다는 점에 있다. 이러한 연구결과를 바탕으로 희망을 활용한 상담에서의 시사점과 제한점을 제시하였다.
This study aimed to investigate the relationship among crisis in adolescents interpersonal relationships, suicidal ideation, and hope, and verify the mediating effects of hope in the relationship between crisis in adolescents interpersonal relationships and suicidal ideation. According to the study purpose, adolescents from a high school located in Gyeonggi-do were recruited for a survey, and 474 students were used for the final analysis. For all analyses, SPSS 23.0 program was employed. Major results of this study can be summarized as follows. First, crisis in adolescents interpersonal relationships had positive correlation with suicidal ideation and negative correlation with the sub-factors of hope such as agency thinking and pathways thinking, agency thinking and pathways thinking showed negative correlation with suicidal ideation. Second, one of the sub-variables of hope, agency thinking, was confirmed to partially mediate crisis in adolescents interpersonal relationships and suicidal ideation, while pathways thinking showed insignificant mediating effect.
