본 연구는 지금까지 이루어지고 있는 점자판을 통한 점자 익히기 교수․학습활동을 탈피하여 점자정보단말기를 통한 점자 쓰기 학습활동이 효율적으로 이루어질 수 있도록 함과 더불어 점자 쓰기 학습에 대한 평가 방법의 발전적 모색을 위해 점자 쓰기 학습 디지털 포트폴리오 평가 프로그램을 개발하고 이를 해당 분야의 전문가와 교사, 학부모를 대상으로 적합성 평가를 실시하여 현장 적용 가능성을 알아보는 데 그 목적이 있다. 선행연구의 고찰을 통하여 디지털 포트폴리오 평가 프로그램을 개발하였고, 시각장애 교육전문가, 특수교육 공학 전문가, 시각장애학교 교사와 학부모 등 34명을 대상으로 적합성 평가를 실시한 결과 시각장애학생의 점자 쓰기 능력 향상을 위한 프로그램으로 사용하기에 적합한 것으로 나타났다.
The purpose of this study was to develop a digital portfolio evaluation program for writing skills in braille and to examine the applicability of the program by asking experts, teachers and parents to assess its fitness. It's basically meant to boost the efficiency of braille writing education by applying electronic braille displays instead of merely sticking to existing teaching practices using braille boards, and to step up the development of braille writing evaluation. A digital portfolio evaluation system was developed by reviewing earlier studies, and 34 people who involved experts in education for students with visual impairment, experts in special education technology, teachers and parents at schools for youth with visual impairment were asked to assess the fitness of the system. As a result, the system turned out to be one of appropriate programs to improve the braille writing skills of students with visual impairment.
