The Purposes of the study was to find the way to improve students’ achievement by analyzing their learning competencies. In particular, this study focused on the students’ competencies and achievements in cyber learning environments. In order to accomplish the study purposes, students’ perceptions of the classroom about the Cyber classes and their learning competencies were examined. Total 250 students participated in this study and their study areas included engineering, humanities, and arts. Among the total 250 students, there were 67 female and 183 male students, and 115 students were taking cyber classes and 68 students were taking offline courses. A survey method was used to collect the data. Three Learning competency Test such as self-regulated learning test, achievement goal orientation, and academic self-efficacy test were conducted and the survey to find the perceptions of cyber classes was conducted as well. SPSS 19 was used to analyze the data. Study result showed that participants had low levels of learning competencies regardless of the types of course delivery mode. They did not think that they are improving their academic performance through cyber courses. results of the study, effective ways of teaching were proposed to enhance the students’ academic performance.
