최근 대학들은 전자 캠퍼스, 모바일 캠퍼스, 유비쿼터스 캠퍼스 등 디지털 캠퍼스 환경을 구축하고 있다. 유비쿼터스 환경에서 RFID 태그 시스템을 기반으로 한 u-캠퍼스 기술은 특히 장애인과 비장애인을 위한 맞춤형 정보 제공에 활용될 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 시각장애인이 편하게 학교생활을 영위하기 위해 RFID 태그를 이용하여 강의실, 교수연구실, 학과게시판, 도서관 정보를 이용할 수 있도록 u-캠퍼스 환경을 구축하기 위한 설계를 제안한다.
Recently many universities have been constructing a digital campus environments such as electronic campus, mobile campus and ubiquitous campus. Various techniques are adopted in u-campus. In the ubiquitous environment, the u-campus technology based on RFID(Radio Frequency Identification) tag system can be especially used to deliver customized information for the disabled and nondisabled students. In this paper, we would like to suggest the design of environment friendly u-campus using RFID tags system for people with visual impairments to be able to do effective school activities. The purpose of this study is to propose a design modeling using UML(Unified Modeling Language) tool for development of u-KNUCIS(ubiquitous Korea Nazarene University campus information system).
