The role of a ‘lifelong educator’ is drawing attention as a key factor in the era of lifelong learning. The term ‘Lifelong Educator’ includes the word “education”. For the professionals, the name makes it possible to predict what the core field or main task of the role would be. In this regard, the word ‘education’ in the ‘Lifelong Educator’ makes the expectation and awareness that their role is largely related to education. In addition, occasionally the problems that are emerged because of increasing interest in life learning are considered as a problem of educator him/herself. The situation that concept of lifelong education is still confusing means that despite many studies being done, the academic identity and status of lifelong education which is the concept of lifelong educator was originated is not satisfactory. This realistic condition can be seen as a situation in which lifelong educators are not provided with enough power in their values and attitudes that need to be led in areas where they are required to perform. Lifelong educators need to form a professional identity and play a role with their own beliefs in their fields. Therefore, An objective of this study is to remind the public that the various conditions presented in lifelong education, in other words, regal, academic and institutional problems should be recognized as more fundamental problem and also should be solved preferentially.
