The Dialogue [Lachēs], which is the object of reinterpretation of this study, is a work that has not received enough educational interest for the time being, and from other scholars perspectives. It is true that the educational interest of the Dialogue [Lachēs] has been reduced to an ideological, or other scholarly point of view by the existing ‘educational’ framework. In this context, this study reinterprets Plato s Dialogue [Lachēs] as a drama of transition of the mode of education in terms of the endogenous theory of education, leading to education as autonomous discipline. For this purpose, this study considered the premise and theoretical context for reinterpreting the Dialogue [Lachēs]. Then, based on these considerations, the Dialogue [Lachēs] was reinterpreted as a drama of the transition of the mode of education.
