Traditionally, the importance and meaning of education has been highly evaluated in Korean society, and a great deal of efforts has come to depend on private education. Recently, the subject of private tutoring has been lowered to pre-school children. This paper describes the use behavior of private education and analyzes the antecedents of private education expenditure of preschool children aged 3 to 7. The relationship between private education cost factors and private education expenditure is analyzed through multiple regression analysis. This result shows that private education is already universalized for preschoolers, and the level of private education expenditure is also very high. Thus, based on the correct understanding of the private education experience of preschool children, it will be necessary to provide better private education services and policies to reduce the burden of private education.
