Proper physical exercise plays an important role to prevent the chronic diseases and gain the beneficial effects of health in elderly and adults. We already know about the beneficial effect of resistance exercise on muscle strength and muscle hypertrophy and the osteoporosis in human. Also, the beneficial effects of resistance exercise on the diabetics with obese middle aged women is recently reported. But the detailed mechanisms of these beneficial effects of resistance exercise is not clear yet. Neuromuscular junction is a important body composition that conducts an important role as pons for proper muscular contraction in the end plate of motor nerves and contacted area of muscle fibers. To investigate the effects of resistance exercise on neuromuscular junction in animals, we detected the average branch length of pre-synapses, stained area of post-synapses and the distances of pre-synapse to post-synapse. In the result of this study shows that the resistance exercise increases the length of pre-synaptic branches and extend the stained area in post-synapse. Also the resistance exercise reduces the distance between the pre-synapse and post-synapse. Therefore, we confirm the grab strength and muscle contraction function to check the animal’s body function. The result shows that the resistance exercise increases the power of grab strength and expends the holding time. These results support the beneficial effects of resistance exercise on the neuromuscular junctions and enhance the NMJ efficiency in animals. The results of this study could be a scientific evidence that shows the beneficial effects of resistance exercise.
