스포츠 활동은 하나의 작은 사회적 요소를 가지고 있고, 집단 또는 또래 집단에의 소속은 참여자들로 하 여금 매우 중요한 가치를 지닌다. 특히, 초등학교 아동 기의 집단 또는 또래 집단에의 소속감은 타인과의 관계 형성에 매우 중요한 의미를 지닌다. 따라서 또래집단의 소속을 통한 친구들과의 관계는 초등학교 아동의 자기 개념 형성과, 정서 및 동기과정에 영향을 미친다(Harter, 1999)는 점에서 주요한 요인이라고 할 수 있다. 스포츠는 팀 동료를 포함하여 여러 사람들과 사회적 상호작용의 기회를 제공한다. 따라서 많은 스포츠참여 자들은 스포츠참여에 있어서 사회적 관계형성에 의미를 두기도 한다. 이런 사회적 의미의 중심은 사회적 관계
The purpose of this research was to examine the construct validity, factorial validity, and discriminant validity of perceived belonging scale in physical education class for elementary school children. This research was to use two original the perceived belonging in sport scale which was examined by Allen(2006) and the other one which was examined Cox and Williams(2008). The subjects were 654(boys: 321, girls: 333) elementary school children and they have lived in G city and J province now. In analysis explanatory factor analysis, 3 factors which were relatedness(8 items), teachers\' support(5 items), and alienation(3 items) and this scale had a good internal consistence. Explanatory factor analysis and confirmed factor analysis in this research provided evidence to support the construct validity. In confirmatory factor analysis there were significance GFI, CFI, RMR. In discriminant validity, there were difference relatedness and alienation between groups by sex, there were difference relatedness and teachers\' support between groups according to children\'s cognitive athletic abilities.
