The purpose of this study was to identify the analysis of Young children\'s communication strategies and sociality according to field independence-dependence cognitive style. For this study, 80 five-year-old children selected from two child care center and two kindergarten. Young children\'s communication strategies and sociality were evaluated by Cosaro(1986)\'s communication strategies scale and Lee(2004)\'s sociality scale. Collected data was analyzed by t-test.
The results of this study are as follows: first, there were significant differences in young children\'s communication strategies according to cognitive styles of children. Independence group were higher than dependence group; second, there were significant differences in young children\'s sociality according to cognitive styles of children. Dependence group was higher than independence group.
