The aims of this study are to examine the current status of supervision in the agencies, to assess supervision satisfaction, and to identify factors associated with supervision satisfaction in graduate social work field practicum. Especially, we were interested in supervisors\' characteristics, supervision structures and supervision functions as influencing factors. The study conducted a survey with a total of 113 MSW students participating in practicum and taking a field practicum seminar. The result of multiple regression analysis found that integrative function (β = .664, p < .001) and service delivery function (β = .290, p < .05) among three supervision functions were significantly associated with supervision satisfaction. The integrative function emerged as the most important factor and the model explained 78.3 percent of the variance (F= 23.45, p < .001). This means that supervision functions are more important than supervisors\' characteristics and supervision structures. Therefore, agencies need to provide a high quality of supervision functions focusing on integrative function and service delivery function for supervisees.
Key words: field practicum, supervision satisfaction
