The purpose of this study is to 1) develop a Korean version of the Communication Ability Scale for elucidate the positive and negative aspects of Korean medical students' attitudes towards communication ability, learning. 2) test construct validation through covariance structure analysis. In oder to answer these purposes, we first reviewed related documents and inventories, as to research the constructed factors which to develop a Communication Ability Scale, then defined the concept of Communication Ability and the theological constructive model. They were included in 6 components and in 20 sub-components. Based on factor analysis and item analysis, 90 items were selected to final test items. Second, to examine the best fit construct model for Communication Ability, we assumed conceptual model for Communication Ability, base on Calgary-Cambridge model(2007) and proposed base on related studies that included the other components for Communication Ability. As a result of covariance structue analysis, we confirmed Communication Ability model include 6 components.
