[황구연전집](10권)은 중국 조선족 이야기꾼 황구연이 구연한 천여 편의 설화가 수록된 자료집이다. 그 중 문헌설화는 황구연의 문인형화자로서의 특징을 가장 잘 보여주는 설화 로서 한국, 중국, 중국 조선족 지역의 기록문학에서 그 원천을 찾을 수 있다. 이에 본고는 [황구연전집] 설화 연구에서 가장 먼저 주목해야 할 한국 문헌설화를 연구대상으로 하여 그들이 한국의 기록문학으로부터 변이된 양상을 통해 화자의 재구의식을 파악하고자 한다. 또한 화자의 상대적 재구의식을 도출하기 위해 근대 이후 한국의 야담집, 대중잡지와 신문, [월간야담]에 채록된 문헌설화의 변이양상도 함께 살펴보았다. 필자는 [황구연전집] 소재 한국 문헌설화의 변이양상을 통해 화자의 재구의식을 두 가 지로 요약하였다. 첫째, 문헌설화를 쉽고 흥미롭게 재구성하여 후대들에게 물려주려는 의 식. 황구연은 자신의 이야기를 책으로 엮어 자식들에게 남기려는 초지를 갖고 한국문헌에 기록된 역사와 명인이야기를 가장 많이 했으며 무거운 주제와 난해한 한문기록을 쉽고도 흥미롭게 구연하였다. 이는 한문지식이 결핍한 계층들을 배려한 한국의 구활자본 야담집, 대중잡지와 신문이 추구했던 계몽성과 유사하나 전근대 야담집을 단순 전재한 그들의 변이 양상보다는 참신한 재구의식을 보여주고 있다. 또한 상업적인 이익을 위해 현대적 서술기 법을 동원하여 독자들의 흥미를 자극한 [월간야담]의 개작과도 구별된다. 요컨대 황구연이 어린 연령층의 적성에 맞도록 구연한 한국 문헌설화는 민족의식이 강한 그의 책임감과 가 장 잘 합치되는 재구의식이라 할 수 있다. 둘째, 참신성과 지식의 함양을 동시에 추구하려 는 재구의식. 황구연은 한국 기록문학에 기록된 이야기의 모티프 외에 기타 개연성 있는 새 로운 모티프를 추가하거나 한·중 설화의 요소들을 조합하여 설화의 참신성과 문화상식전 달의 목적도 이루었다. 이 또한 전근대 문헌설화를 단순 전재한 한국의 야담집이나, 통속적 인 내용으로 독자를 유혹했던 [월간야담]과 구별되는 면이다.
Hwang, GuYeon Complete Works(10) contained about thousand story that Korean-Chinese storyteller Hwang, GuYeon talked. Although the literary-type story in complete works is only a handful compared to the oral story, but as a feature of the literary-type speakers are the best shows. This paper study korean literary-type story contained in Hwang, GuYeon complete works for identify storyteller\'s awareness of reconstruction through muted pattern that changed from korean history and literature. For drawn speaker\'s awareness of the relative reconstruction, make a comparison with the mutation pattern of literary-type story that contained in Korean historical story book, popular magazines and newspapers, Monthly Historical romance. I summarized two kinds of Hwang, GuYeon\'s awareness of restructure through the muted pattern of korean literary-type story contained in Hwang, GuYeon Complete Works. First, the awareness of reconfigure the literary-type story for interesting and easy to young age group. Hwang, GuYeon get grassland of leave the book to the child, storied many history and master\'s story and make serious theme and difficult Chinese Characters to easy and interesting. This similar to Korean historical story book, popular magazines and newspapers that care the people lack knowledge of Chinese Characters, but distinguished in simple reprinting of outmoded historical story book. Also distinguished with adaption of Monthly Historical Romance to commercial interests of modern readers interested in narrative technique. In short, stories for children of Hwang, GuYeon\'s literary-type story stimulates the awareness of reconstruction that combined with patriotic Hwang, GuYeon\'s mission. Second, the awareness for seek freshness and knowledge of story itself. Hwang, GuYeon add other motif that have probability and novelty in addition to Korean literary-type story. And combine Korean-Chinese elements of stories for achieved purpose of knowledge transfer. This is also compared to Korean historical story book that reprinting of outmoded historical story book and Monthly Historical Romance that tempt reader with familiarization.
